ABOUT ME:

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Mirka and I am originally from Prague, Czech republic which is a small country in the heart of Europe, the state where beer is cheeper than water, where Tom Cruise filmed the very 1st Mission Impossible movie and where the culture is so rich that it makes your head spin!. Here you get to see a display of my most recent work and read my thoughts... If you ask me what I specialize in, I will tell you that everything and nothing. I love capturing the little ones from day they arrive to this world until the day that the time comes and your oldest graduates, falls in love, gets married and the circle of life starts over again... I am married to a wonderful man, who supports my passion with big chunk of patience. I am a mommy to a wonderful 2 year old crazy energizer bunny boy, whom you can see over and over on my website. He is the hardest child that I got to photograph yet! He runs away the second I pull my camera out lol... Anyway, I really hope that you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy photography (which is a whole LOT) and I'm looking forward hearing from you soon!

The same day my parents left, my brother arrived with his family.

They came to visit all the way from Maine with their two beautiful children. This was the first time I actually got to meet Miss Grace in person, since she was born.

Man is she sooooo cute, she looks a lot like me, when I was a baby.

We got to spend little over a day together before they headed back up North, but for sure we had to get a session in:)

Here is at least few that I got to sneak in before I start catching up on all my client work:)

It was great to have them here and made it somewhat easier not to think and cry over my parents being gone back home.

David made my day yesterday, when he called me his favourite aunt Mirka ;) Love you!!!

I am in love with this chair, soooo happy that I get to use it and that it did not make it to dumpster, the light in our sunroom is ideal for studio sessions too:)

and just few of the cousins hanging out:) I must say that they got along decently and there was no blood sheaded lol..
